I'Wont live without my ipod, God, cause music's all I got
My life is empty, finished if you steal that from me why don't you just rip out my heart.
You take away my money
You take away my family
You take away almost all that matters as I age and face life's trials & tribulations.
Expect me to perform, contribute and pretend life is great, denial
Laugh at me while I pray to you, ignore my pleads and sorrows
And I conform just carrying on as if life is ok
It's not.
My ipod is the reason I can really want to stay.
Walk the pavement
Smile to others
Stand in crowds of smelly people hurrying to one place or another.
Wanting to be away from it all where the crowd just disappears.
But can't cause I ain't got the money, got too much responsibility, what's the deal?
So I lose myself in my ipod, the only thing that sustains my will.
Makes me hunger for life, gives me hope, lets me dream once again that good things will arrive.
So I won't live without my Ipod God, cause music's all I got.
You take that away and you might as well just stop the beat of my heart.
